Ensuring a Bright Future
for Leaders of Tomorrow
We equip Grade 12 learners — especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds — with the information they need to apply for tertiary education and pursue their dreams.
About HMU

Registered 2017 · Operating since 2018
HMU is a non-profit company whose primary purpose is to provide Grade 12 learners — especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds — with the information they need to apply for tertiary education and further their studies post-matric.
We also visit schools to introduce learners to our platform, and assist those who reach out through our social media channels and email.
“In townships and rural areas, there are many misconceptions surrounding tertiary applications and who qualifies. Many learners get misinformed, discouraged, or simply have no idea where to start — it is this gap that HMU aims to close.”
— Dr Lehlohonolo Ntlatlapo, Chairperson & President
The organisation was registered in late 2017 and began operating in 2018, born from Dr Ntlatlapo's recognition that countless young people were missing life-changing opportunities simply due to a lack of information. HMU exists to join already-established organisations in closing that gap.
