Background: 

Grew up in Katlehong but relocated to Mamelodi in 2014. Attended Phumulani Secondary School and Pretoria Secondary School. 

Motivation behind being part of HMU:

I realised that I was fortunate to have informed and supportive siblings. Without their support I never would have been able to apply to and make it to varsity. Unfortunately, not many of my peers had this support and thus they were unable to further their studies. Being part of HMU is my way of contributing towards changing this harsh reality. I would love to see more learners readily have access to the information, resources and support they need to attain their life goals.
